School Programs
These groups provide students with healthy ways to cope with their feelings of grief and loss in the familiarity of their own school.
Children spend a significant portion of their day in the school environment. For this reason, school staff members are often placed in primary support roles with students grieving the loss of a loved one. Cornerstone of Hope seeks to come alongside schools, providing grief support and education services for staff, students, and families.
Cornerstone of Hope Provides:
Arts based therapy support group designed to help children and adolescents who have experienced the death of a loved one. Groups last eight weeks for approximately 60 minutes. Groups are designed for 4-8 children or teens and are offered for Kindergarten through 12th Grade. Groups will be determined by age and developmental appropriateness. Groups are based on staff availability.
