School Programs

Cornerstone of Hope is pleased to partner with area schools to offer free in-school support to students, staff, and their families.

These groups provide students with healthy ways to cope with their feelings of grief and loss in the familiarity of their own school.

Grief Support

Children spend a significant portion of their day in the school environment. For this reason, school staff members are often placed in primary support roles with students grieving the loss of a loved one. Cornerstone of Hope seeks to come alongside schools, providing grief support and education services for staff, students, and families.

Cornerstone of Hope Provides:

  • Initial Phone Consultation to determine appropriate needs and resources
  • Free Grief Education Materials for staff, students, and families
  • Grief Support Groups for students
  • Initial Debriefing with Staff after a loss
  • Information on current and upcoming Grief Services and Events for students and families taking place at Cornerstone of Hope
