Grief Workshops
Cornerstone of Hope offers routine grief workshops for anyone who would like to better understand grief and loss. Workshops vary in length and style between one day seminars and topical recurring series offerings.
Grief Matters is a monthly education workshop series designed to provide opportunities to explore and manage grief in new ways. Recognizing that the experience of grief is both unique and universal, Grief Matters offers additional support for those striving to learn, grow, connect, and heal.
Each month, a topic or activity is presented that may help improve wellness and coping through education, self-care, and emotional expression. Participants are encouraged to try new skills and incorporate them into their lives if appropriate for their personal grief journey. Please join us on the last Wednesday of each month for a different topic or activity … because your grief matters!
Murals, Mocktails, and Mourning

Expressing our grief is essential to the healing process and our overall wellness. In a unique spin on popular “wine and canvas” events, you are invited to join us for an evening of togetherness, creative nourishment, and fun! Attendees will participate in a step-by-step painting activity and take their completed work home at the end of the event. No artistic skills are required and all supplies will be provided. Light refreshments will be served.
Journaling for Grief

Research shows that writing can be a helpful strategy to work through situations and struggles, including grief and loss. Participants in this session will learn more about the benefits of writing to explore different ways we can write to express our feelings, preserve memories of loved ones through expression, and discuss our experiences with others who are facing similar challenges in their grief.
