For many individuals, medication can be a helpful tool to support their mental wellness. But what does this look like in the context of grief? Please join us as we welcome Becca Granger, CNP, whose aim for the evening is that you leave with new knowledge and understanding about medications to aid you in asking the right questions and getting the most benefit from your support plan. She welcomes your questions and will address frequently asked questions including: What are the risks, benefits, and limitations of taking medication? Are there alternatives? How do they work and are they safe for me? Is medication a cop-out? What if I start medication and want to stop? Additional support tools and opportunities for self-reflection will be shared as well.
Becca Granger has been a Certified Nurse Practitioner since 2012 with an exclusive focus on mental health since 2021. She believes that there is always hope and deciding whether or not to explore medication for your mental health should be a conversation between you and your healthcare provider, using shared decision-making to help you safely and effectively meet your goals.
