Research shows that writing can be a helpful strategy to work through situations and struggles, including grief and loss. Participants in this session will learn more about the benefits of writing to explore different ways we can write to express our feelings, preserve memories of loved ones through expression, and discuss our experiences with others who are facing similar challenges in their grief. This session will include creative and journal-based writing prompts, discussion, and education about healthy coping skills. Supplies will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own journal as well.
