Grief Matters is a monthly education workshop series designed to provide opportunities to explore and manage grief in new ways. Recognizing that the experience of grief is both unique and universal, Grief Matters offers additional support for those striving to learn, grow, connect, and heal.
Each month, a topic or activity is presented that may help improve wellness and coping through education, self-care, and emotional expression. Participants are encouraged to try new skills and incorporate them into their lives if appropriate for their personal grief journey. Please join us on the last Wednesday of each month for a different topic or activity … because your grief matters!

Grief is a whole person experience with effects in the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects of our lives. This session will focus on our spiritual journeys as we grieve: the ways death and loss influence our relationship with God, our capacity to have faith, and the doubts, changed perceptions, and confusion we may experience as we cope with living, dying, and the journey of the human soul. This session will offer the opportunity for teaching, discussion, and reflection.

Restorative yoga is a practice of healing for the grieving heart, mind, and body. The slow and still nature of the class allows space for the mind to settle, the breath to expand, and the body to melt. Join us for an indulgent one-hour virtual class that will invite you into a deep state of rest. All are welcome and absolutely no yoga experience is necessary. All you need is a quiet space to stretch out, comfortable clothing, a pillow and blanket, and a device with Zoom.
